Configuring Windows Live Mail

  1. Open Windows Live Mail (WLM)
  2. Add or Edit Accounts
    • To Add a New Account:
        Click the drop-down on the upper-left side and select Options > Email accounts
    • To Edit Existing Accounts:
        Right-click on your email account, and select Properties.

  3. Click on the Servers tab. Follow the text below for the settings provided to you for your account.
    • Enter or (as directed) in both the Incoming Mail (POP3) and in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) fields.
    • Enter your full Email address ( in the Email Username field.
    • Enter your email password in the Password field and check the box to remember.
    • Check the box beside My server requires authentication.

  4. Go to the Advanced tab and then match the settings as shown below.

  5. Click Apply to save any changes made.
  6. Click OK to finish.
