New Website
Situation
Wallace Technologies is a Brooklyn Park, MN-based company that manufactures and sells the Vu Qube – a device that mounts on trucks so truck drivers can easily access satellite television no matter where they are. As a brand new company with a brand new product, Wallace Technologies began with nothing. Cazarin Web Group was hired to create their company and product website from scratch, as well as design a logo, animation and DVD consistent with the brand.
Research
Cazarin Web Group began by researching how to appeal to the target demographic for the Vu Qube product: truck drivers. They researched a variety of resources to discover the best methods of reaching this demographic. This same research would also be the background for designing the logo and creating the animation and DVD.
Planning
It was decided that the website would need to appeal to truck drivers as well as be designed with their needs in mind. The design team began to create the new website, as well as the logos.
Execution
Cazarin Web Group created a sophisticated website that represented the new company and their new product. The website was made to support dealers of the Vu Qube, who are the main form of distribution of the product. The site provided all the information that companies and truckers would need to evaluate the Vu Qube, including testimonials from past buyers, installation information, customer support and FAQs. Cazarin also created logos for Vu Qube and Wallace Technologies, an animation for installing the product into trucks and a DVD that Wallace Technologies could distribute at tradeshows.
Evaluation
Wallace Technologies was very happy with their website. The technological look and feel of the site appealed to them as well as the truck driver demographic. After the launch of the site, Wallace Technologies began to see an increase in sales of the Vu Qube. Cazarin Web Group continues to provide all of the graphic needs of Wallace Technologies. |
